If I were spending a significant amount of money on advertising, I’d want to know exactly how many calls it generated, how many were prospects and what my actual cost per lead was.

Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle sales up more than 21% over last year!!

That’s GREAT news for the online auction software sales and usage here at LiveBlock Auctions, as well as for each of our friends here in the Auto Industry!!

Whatever the reasons behind this drastic change, we’re all living together as witness to our cultures and industries changing at a more rapid pace than most of us can ever recall. Sometimes a little nerve-wracking, it’s also very exciting to see the way the human race adjusts its’ “needs” and wants in life when required and then we have NEW needs!

Maybe it’s the recession “lifting”, maybe it’s changes in peoples’ financial planning and comfort ideals or low % financing options out there now, or maybe it’s just people realizing that the pre-owned vehicles have quality too. Add that it’s so strongly supported by the number of dealerships out there providing certifications and warranties … This is not a shock to some… because really – could the “I’m going to get debt for every cent I earn” concept can only last much longer before reality sets in for many? I don’t think so.

All said and done, markets change, needs change, opinions change… and with that change is the benefit for so many of us that are in, or support, the currently growing area… Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales!!!

Do you know how much each lead costs you? If you take the cost of your ad, divided by the number of phone calls it generated you have your cost per call. If you determine the number of prospect calls there were and then divide it by the cost of your advertisement you get the actual cost per lead.

Do you know how much each lead costs you? If you take the cost of your ad, divid it by the number of phone calls it generated – you have your cost per call. If you determine the number of prospect calls, then divide it by the cost of your advertisement – you get the actual cost per lead.
